We have the opportunity to care for the neighbors surrounding Gateway in a very simple way.
In small groups, we will be: Handing out a plant to our neighbors and asking them how we can be praying for them.
Afterward, we will have a meal together to share our experiences.
Friday, May 31st, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Saturday, June 1st, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Gateway will be a host church for the Hope for the Journey Conference. Weblink: showhope.org/our-work/pre-post-adoption-support/hope-for-the-journey. A training by the organization Show Hope which seeks to encourage and equip parents and caregivers who are meeting the needs of children impacted by adoption, foster care, and/or trauma. This conference will also be helpful to anyone who works with children, including teachers, law enforcement, mental health professionals, as well as child care providers, Sunday School teachers, and youth workers.
